Shimano Cleat Set SM-SH56 SPD – Reliable SPD Cleats for Efficient Power Transfer
The Shimano SM-SH56 cleat set is a set of SPD cleats with multi-release function. The cleats provide a secure connection between shoe and pedal and make it easier to release in critical situations.
Multi-release: Thanks to the counter plate, the foot can be released from the pedal more easily – ideal for beginners and mountain bikers.
Compatible with all SPD pedals: The cleats fit common Shimano SPD pedals and many third-party pedals.
Robust metal construction: The cleats are made of durable steel and withstand high loads.
Easy installation: Quickly attach to the shoe with the included screws and adjustment aid.
Lightweight and compact: The set weighs only 84 g and does not affect performance.
What sets the SM-SH56 apart
Unlike standard SPD cleats (SH51), the SH56 offer lower release resistance and a defined multi-release. This makes them particularly suitable for riders who prioritize safety and easy unclipping. The cleats are wear-resistant and designed for continuous use.
Ideal for...
Mountain bikers, touring cyclists and beginners who value a safe and controlled pedal connection. Also suitable for use on indoor bikes or ergometers.
How to mount the cleats
