Hoya Light Pollution Cut Filter 55 mm Starscape effectively reduces light pollution for stunning astrophotography. With 55 mm diameter and only 70 g weight.
The Hoya Light Pollution Cut Filter 55 mm Starscape is a special lens filter that removes annoying artificial light. It enables contrast-rich shots of the night sky, free from yellow or orange stray light from streetlights.
Selectively filters light from sodium lamps and other artificial sources for natural star colors
55 mm thread fits many lenses – easy mounting without tools
Hoya quality from Japanese manufacturing for durable, scratch-resistant optics
The Starscape filter from Hoya was specially developed for astrophotography. Unlike simple UV filters, it specifically blocks the wavelengths of artificial lighting while allowing the natural spectrum of starlight to pass almost unhindered. The multi-coated optics minimize reflections and preserve contrast.
