Eaton Main Switch – 6-Pole Disconnect Switch with HALT Function
The Eaton main switch T0 is a 6-pole load disconnect switch for industrial and commercial electrical installations. With a rated current of 20 A, it safely isolates three-phase circuits.
6-pole version for three phases, neutral conductor and protective conductor – ideal for three-phase applications
HALT function (T0) allows locking in the off position for safe maintenance and servicing
Rated current 20 A covers common loads in building technology and machine construction
Compact black housing saves space in switch cabinets and distribution boxes
24-month manufacturer warranty ensures long-term operational safety and protection against failures
What sets the Eaton main switch apart
The HALT function distinguishes this switch from simple disconnect switches: in the off position, the rotary handle can be locked with a padlock – preventing unintentional re-switching and electric shock during maintenance. Eaton uses robust contact materials and clear switch position indication for this model.
Ideal for...
Electricians, switch cabinet builders and industrial plant operators who need reliable disconnect points for machines, systems or sub-distributions. Also suitable for retrofitting in existing installations where safety and standard compliance (e.g. DIN VDE 0660) are required.
How to use the Eaton main switch
The switch is mounted on a pre-assembly plate or on a DIN rail (depending on version). After connecting the 6 terminals (L1, L2, L3, N, PE, additional equipotential bonding), the device is ready for operation. For the HALT function, turn the red handle to the off position and lock it with a standard padlock.
Eaton is a global energy management company with over 100 years of experience. Its products are known for high safety, reliability and standard compliance – particularly in electrical distribution and building technology.
The main switch serves as an all-pole disconnect switch for three-phase consumers up to 20 A. It completely isolates the connected device from the mains and enables safe maintenance and repair.
The HALT function allows the switch to be locked in the off position with a padlock. This prevents unintentional reconnection during maintenance.
The switch is 6-pole: three poles for line conductors L1, L2, L3, a neutral conductor, a protective conductor and an additional equipotential bonding. It is therefore suitable for three-phase systems.
The rated current is 20 A. The switch is designed for rated voltages up to 690 V.
The statutory warranty of 2 years applies. Eaton additionally grants a manufacturer warranty of 24 months on material and manufacturing defects.
