Eaton Main Switch 3 Pole + N, 20 A – Safety and Reliability for Your Electrical Installation
The Eaton main switch with NOT-AUS function is a three-pole disconnect switch with neutral connection, designed for rated currents up to 20 A. It serves as a central disconnecting means in electrical installations, enabling safe shutdown in emergencies or during maintenance.
NOT-AUS function (T0) according to common safety standards ensures rapid and reliable disconnection of the installation in hazardous situations
3 poles + neutral allows all-pole disconnection of three-phase loads and ensures complete isolation from the mains
Rated current of 20 A covers many common applications in building services and control cabinet construction
Compact design and low weight of 0.36 kg simplify mounting on DIN rails or mounting plates
24 months manufacturer's warranty provides long-term investment security for this safety-critical component
What sets the Eaton main switch apart

Ideal for...
This main switch is ideal for electrical professionals working in building installation or control cabinet construction. Typical applications include industrial plants, machine tools, conveyor belts, or lighting systems requiring all-pole disconnection. It is also perfectly suitable for use in distribution boards according to DIN VDE standards.
How to use the Eaton main switch
Mount the switch on a DIN rail (EN 50022) or a mounting plate inside the control cabinet. Connect the three phases L1, L2, L3 and the neutral (N) according to your wiring diagram. The operating knob is locked in the “0” (OFF) position – only turning to “I” (ON) energizes the installation. In an emergency, a single turn to “0” disconnects the entire load from the mains all-polarly.
Eaton is a global leader in power management and electrical components. The company has a long tradition of developing reliable switchgear for industry and building services. The products are known for longevity and high safety standards.
A main switch with NOT-AUS function is a manually operated disconnector that isolates the electrical installation from the mains all-polarly. The NOT-AUS function corresponds to safety category T0 and allows quick shutdown in hazardous situations.
The switch is designed for three-phase installations up to 20 A in building services, control cabinets, and industrial machinery. It is suitable for all-pole disconnection of motors, conveyors, lighting, and other loads.
Rated current: 20 A, number of poles: 3 + N, NOT-AUS function: T0, color: red, weight: 0.36 kg. The switch mounts on a DIN rail.
Mounting is on a 35 mm DIN rail (EN 50022) inside the control cabinet. Wiring is to the three phases L1, L2, L3 and the neutral N according to the wiring diagram. The operating knob has positions 0 (OFF) and I (ON).
Eaton provides a 24-month manufacturer's warranty on this main switch.
