Weita Disposable Spoon C-PLA – Biobased disposable spoons for eco-conscious use
The Weita disposable spoons made from C-PLA (polylactic acid) are derived from renewable raw materials and offer a sustainable alternative to conventional plastic cutlery. The set includes 50 white spoons with a length of 16.5 cm, ideal for parties, catering, or everyday use.
Made from plant-based bioplastic C-PLA – reduces carbon footprint compared to petroleum-based plastic
Size 16.5 cm suitable for starters, desserts, and buffets
Pack of 50 – sufficient for larger gatherings and events
Stable shape – less prone to breakage than thin plastic spoons
What sets the Weita C-PLA spoons apart
Unlike many disposable cutlery products made from conventional plastic, Weita uses C-PLA, a bioplastic derived from corn starch. The spoons are biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and leave no microplastic residues. Despite their environmentally friendly production, they offer a pleasant feel and sufficient stability for single use.
Ideal for catering, events, and households
These disposable spoons are particularly suitable for restaurants with take-away or delivery services, corporate events, parties, picnics, and camping. They are also a practical solution in canteens that rely on disposable tableware. For households, they are a good choice when entertaining many guests and wanting to avoid washing reusable cutlery.
How to use the Weita C-PLA spoons
The spoons are ready for immediate use. Use them for foods up to a temperature of approximately 80 °C, as C-PLA may soften at higher temperatures. After use, dispose of the spoons in general waste or, if permitted by your local regulations, in the industrial compost bin. The spoons are not intended for reuse, as they lose stability after a single use.
