Application of Tetra pH/KH Minus
Test current pH and KH values using a reliable aquarium test kit before treatment
Add the recommended dose directly into the aquarium water, preferably near the filter outflow for even distribution
Wait 24 hours and retest to assess the effect before applying a second dose
Repeat dosing gradually until target parameters are reached, monitoring fish behaviour throughout

Dose only after testing current pH and KH values. Wait 24 hours between doses and retest before reapplying. Gradual adjustment prevents shock to fish and plants.
It is safe for most freshwater species when dosed according to the instructions. However, fish from hard-water biotopes (e.g. African cichlids) may not tolerate lowered KH — always research species-specific water requirements before treatment.
Avoid combining multiple water conditioners simultaneously unless explicitly recommended by Tetra. If using other Tetra water care products, allow at least 24 hours between applications and test water parameters between each.
The product has a shelf life of 24 months from the date of manufacture. Store in a cool, dark place and keep the bottle tightly sealed when not in use.
