How to use the Stöckli POT compost bin
Place the bin in an easily accessible spot in your kitchen, e.g. on the worktop or under the sink. Collect daily organic waste such as fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, tea bags or eggshells. The activated carbon filter neutralises odours, keeping the bin hygienic even in warmer conditions. Empty the contents every one to two days onto your compost heap or into the organic waste bin. The bin can be cleaned with warm water and mild detergent; the filter should be replaced every 3–6 months.

All organic kitchen waste: fruit and vegetable peelings, coffee grounds, tea bags, eggshells, nutshells and cut flowers. Meat, fish or cooked leftovers are not recommended as they may cause odours.
The lid contains an activated carbon filter that absorbs and neutralises odours, keeping the kitchen odour-free even after prolonged collection. The filter should be replaced every 3–6 months for full effectiveness.
The bin is made from recycled plastic. The material is robust, durable and food-safe. The black colour is moulded through, preventing chipping.
The bin can be rinsed with warm water and mild detergent. Remove the filter before cleaning. The bin is not dishwasher safe. Dry thoroughly before reinserting the filter.
