SkyRC Ares Pro V4 540 MODIFIED 13.5T – Brushless Motor for RC Competition Cars
The SkyRC Ares Pro V4 540 MODIFIED 13.5T is a brushless electric motor with sensored control, designed for racing RC vehicles. The combination of Sensored technology and the 13.5T winding ensures precise torque delivery and high efficiency.
Sensored control for fine throttle response and consistent power – ideal on track.
Compact dimensions (35.8 mm diameter, 52 mm length) for mounting in narrow chassis.
At only 0.19 kg, the motor reduces unsprung mass and improves handling.
The 13.5T winding provides a balanced mix of speed and torque for different race types.
Robust construction guarantees long life under demanding competition conditions.
What sets the SkyRC Ares Pro V4 apart
The motor is based on a sensored brushless architecture that enables particularly smooth power delivery. Unlike simple sensorless brushless motors, the Ares Pro V4 offers more direct response from idle to full throttle – a decisive advantage on technical tracks with many corners. High-quality materials and precision manufacturing contribute to reliability.
Ideal for ambitious RC car drivers
This motor is aimed at hobby racers and club competitions who value consistent lap times and minimal maintenance. The combination of sensored regulation and the 13.5T class is especially suitable for 1:10 scale racing cars on asphalt or carpet.
How to use the SkyRC Ares Pro V4
Mount the motor directly into your RC car chassis. Connect the three phase wires to a compatible sensored ESC. Ensure correct pinion gear installation (not included) and sensor alignment. After mounting and programming the ESC, the motor is ready for use.
SkyRC is a Taiwanese manufacturer of RC modelling components. The brand is known for innovative chargers, motors, and control systems. Products are aimed at ambitious hobby modellers and competition drivers.
It is a brushless electric motor with sensored control, specifically designed for RC competition cars. The 13.5T winding provides a balance between speed and torque.
The motor requires a sensored brushless ESC with a sensor port. All common ESCs supporting the Sensored protocol are suitable, e.g., from SkyRC, Hobbywing, or other manufacturers.
Outer diameter: 35.8 mm; length: 52 mm; shaft diameter: 3.175 mm; weight: 0.19 kg. The no-load RPM per volt is stated as 0 kV (no speed curve provided).
Installation requires a suitable pinion gear, mounting screws, and possibly a motor heat sink. These are not included. The motor is supplied without connecting cables or sensor wire.
The manufacturer offers 24 months warranty. This covers material and manufacturing defects, but not damage due to incorrect installation or overload.
