Scotch Move & Protect Furniture Glides Ø 40mm – Heavy-Duty Floor Protectors for Up to 300 kg
The Scotch Move & Protect Furniture Glides are extra-strong adhesive pads designed to protect floors and carpets while making heavy furniture easy to reposition. With a load capacity of up to 300 kg, they are built for demanding everyday use in offices and homes.
Extra-strong adhesive holds securely on smooth, sealed floors and carpets
Supports up to 300 kg per glide — ideal for heavy desks, cabinets, and wardrobes
Ø 40 mm diameter provides a stable base and even weight distribution
Grey colour blends discreetly with most floor surfaces
4-pack offers enough glides for a complete furniture set
What sets Scotch Move & Protect apart
Unlike standard felt pads that compress and lose grip over time, these glides combine a durable adhesive with a rigid 40 mm plate that distributes weight evenly. The extra-strong bond prevents sliding on smooth surfaces while the grey finish remains virtually invisible once applied.
Ideal for
Office workers and households with heavy furniture that needs to be repositioned regularly without scratching or damaging floors. Particularly suited for desks, filing cabinets, and wardrobes on laminate, vinyl, or carpeted surfaces.
Application of Scotch Move & Protect Furniture Glides
Clean and dry the floor surface thoroughly
Peel off the backing film and press the glide firmly onto the furniture leg
Position the furniture on the desired spot and apply even downward pressure
Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to reach full bond strength before moving the furniture
Scotch is a globally recognised adhesive brand known for high-quality mounting and protection products. The Move & Protect line focuses on floor-safe furniture glides that combine strong adhesion with heavy-load durability.
The glides protect floors and carpets from scratches when repositioning heavy furniture. They are designed for smooth, sealed surfaces such as laminate, vinyl, and carpet.
Each glide supports up to 300 kg, making them suitable for heavy desks, cabinets, wardrobes, and other large furniture items.
Each glide has a diameter of 40 mm and features a rigid plate with an extra-strong adhesive backing. The colour is grey.
The 4-pack contains four glides. Clean the floor, peel the backing, press firmly onto the furniture leg, and allow 24 hours for full adhesion.
The extra-strong adhesive is designed for a permanent bond on smooth, sealed floors. The 24-month manufacturer warranty covers defects in material and adhesion.
