How to use the drum unit
Turn off the printer and open the access cover.
Remove the old drum unit according to the user manual.
Remove the protective foil from the new drum and insert it.
Close the cover and turn the printer back on. The printer automatically recognises the new component.

The imaging drum (or drum unit) is a central component in a laser printer. It transfers the toner powder onto the paper and significantly influences print quality. After a certain number of pages, it must be replaced.
The CLT-R808 (SS686A) drum is compatible with a wide range of Samsung and HP colour laser printers, including Samsung CLX-330x, CLP-36x, SL-C430, SL-C480 and HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M280-M285 and similar series. Check the exact model number in your printer manual.
The drum is rated for a capacity of 100,000 pages (at 5% coverage per colour). Actual life may vary depending on print volume and coverage.
The package contains a single CLT-R808/SS686A drum unit. An installation guide is included. Toner and other consumables are not supplied.
Installation is tool-free: turn off the printer, open the front or side cover, remove the old drum, remove the protective foil from the new drum and insert it. Close the cover and turn the printer back on.
