Robbe Modellsport Avalanche ARF – 2.8m Electric Glider in White-Blue
The Robbe Avalanche ARF is a 2.8-metre electric glider built for model aviation enthusiasts who demand a ready-to-fly experience with professional-grade construction. Its full carbon-fibre (CFK) airframe delivers exceptional stiffness and minimal weight, making it an ideal platform for soaring and thermal flying.
2.8m wingspan with full CFK construction for maximum rigidity and minimal weight
Electric brushless motor system — designed for clean, quiet, and efficient flight
ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) format — requires only receiver, transmitter, motor, ESC, and servos to complete
White-blue two-tone finish with detailed colour scheme
What sets the Avalanche ARF apart
The combination of a full carbon-fibre airframe and a purpose-built electric drive train sets this glider apart from simpler EPO or foam alternatives. The CFK construction provides a high strength-to-weight ratio that translates into precise handling and long flight durations, while the ARF format keeps the build process manageable without sacrificing quality.
Ideal for experienced RC pilots
This model is designed for intermediate to advanced RC pilots who already own or plan to purchase a compatible transmitter, receiver, brushless motor, ESC, and servos. It is not a toy-grade product — it demands proper assembly and a solid understanding of electric flight systems.
Application of the Robbe Avalanche ARF
Assemble the airframe following the included instructions
Install the receiver, servos, brushless motor, and ESC
Bind the transmitter and perform pre-flight checks
Robbe is a specialist manufacturer of RC model aircraft, known for producing high-quality gliders and electric sailplanes that combine carbon-fibre construction with accessible ARF formats. The brand focuses on intermediate and advanced pilots who value build quality and flight performance.
ARF means the airframe is fully manufactured and ready for final assembly. You need to install the receiver, transmitter, brushless motor, ESC, and servos yourself — the glider does not include these components.
The model requires a standard 2.4GHz RC transmitter and receiver system. The specific channel count depends on the number of servos and functions you plan to use — a minimum of 4 channels is recommended.
The airframe is constructed from carbon fibre (CFK) and fibreglass (GFK), with a wingspan of 2.8 metres and a weight of 2.22 kg.
The ARF kit includes the pre-built airframe in white-blue finish. You must supply the receiver, transmitter, brushless motor, ESC, and servos separately.
The product comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty covering material and manufacturing defects.
