The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT powers your Pi 4B or 3B directly over Ethernet – ideal for remote operation without a separate power supply, with PoE+ support.
Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT – Power over Ethernet for 4B and 3B
The Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT is an expansion module that powers your Raspberry Pi 4B or 3B via an Ethernet cable. It operates without an external power supply and is ideal for remote locations or projects with multiple Pis.
5V output provides reliable power to the Pi – no extra power supply needed
Supports PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) for higher power reserves
Input voltage range 37 to 57 V for flexible network environments
Easy mounting directly onto the GPIO header – installed in seconds
Compact design fits into any case
What sets the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT apart
Unlike simple PoE splitters, this HAT integrates seamlessly with the Raspberry Pi via the standardised HAT interface. It eliminates extra cabling and supplies power directly through the Ethernet cable.
Ideal for...
The PoE+ HAT is aimed at developers, hobbyists and system administrators who run Raspberry Pis in network environments – for media servers, IoT gateways, network monitoring or as part of a cluster.
How to use the Raspberry Pi PoE+ HAT
Gently push the HAT onto the GPIO header of your Raspberry Pi 4B or 3B. Connect the Pi via an Ethernet cable to a PoE+-capable switch or injector. The Pi will automatically receive power and boot – no further configuration needed.
Raspberry Pi is a British foundation that promotes computer science education through single-board computers. Their products, including the Raspberry Pi series, are widely used in education, DIY projects, and professional embedded systems.
