Plug the device into a 230V mains socket and allow the wire to heat up for a few seconds. Guide the material steadily across the heated wire — the wire melts through the film or foam automatically. For best results, cut at a moderate, consistent speed and ensure adequate ventilation in the workspace. After use, switch off and allow the wire to cool before storing the device.
