Frequently Asked Questions
A support rail (also called DIN rail) is a standardized mounting rail used in control cabinets and distribution boards to attach electrical components such as terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and control devices.
The rail is 250 mm long, 35 mm wide, and 7.5 mm high (profile 35/7.5). It is unperforated.
It is made of steel with a galvanized coating for corrosion protection. The surface is silver-colored.
Yes, the 35/7.5 mm profile conforms to DIN EN 60715 and is compatible with all common DIN rail devices and terminals.
The rail can be individually screwed onto the mounting plate. The unperforated version allows free choice of screw positions. Components are then easily clipped onto the rail.
