Nouvel Kartoffelkorb Alpfest with Lid – Breathable Storage for Fresh Potatoes

The Nouvel Kartoffelkorb Alpfest is a traditional-style storage basket crafted from natural linen and willow, designed to keep potatoes and other root vegetables fresh. The integrated lid protects the contents from light and dust while allowing air circulation.

• Breathable linen and willow construction keeps potatoes fresh longer
• Integrated lid shields contents from light and dust
• Compact 23 cm diameter fits on kitchen counters or pantry shelves
• Black and white woven pattern adds a natural, rustic touch to any kitchen

What makes the Nouvel Alpfest special

Unlike plastic or metal containers, the natural fibre blend of linen and willow provides gentle ventilation that prevents moisture buildup — a common cause of spoilage in stored potatoes. The handwoven construction is both durable and lightweight.

Ideal for

Home cooks who store root vegetables in bulk and prefer natural, chemical-free storage solutions. The compact size suits small to medium kitchens where counter or pantry space is limited.

Using the Nouvel Kartoffelkorb Alpfest

1. Place the basket in a cool, dark pantry or on a kitchen counter
2. Fill with potatoes, ensuring the lid closes securely
3. Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight
4. Empty and air-dry the basket periodically to maintain freshness
