Application of Juwel bioPlus Coarse XL
Rinse the sponge in aquarium water (never tap water) before first use
Place in the filter compartment of a Juwel Bioflow XL system
Rinse gently every 2–4 weeks when flow rate drops
Replace only when the sponge structure breaks down

The sponge is made of coarse synthetic filter material in blue colour. The Jumbo XL size is optimised for large filtration volumes; exact dimensions are listed in the technical data.
Rinse the sponge gently in aquarium water that has been removed during a water change. Never use tap water, as chlorine would kill the beneficial bacteria colony on the sponge.
