The Jagwire BASIC X-CALIPER Brake Pads are designed for mechanical rim brake calipers in the X-CALIPER series. They are not suitable for disc brakes or hydraulic systems.
Pad lifespan depends on riding conditions, braking frequency, and rim surface. Under normal use, a pair of BASIC pads typically lasts several hundred kilometres before replacement is needed.
The brake pads use a gummy compound, which provides a balanced combination of stopping power and modulation. The material is non-metallic and designed for standard rim braking surfaces.
The package contains one pair (2 pads) of Jagwire BASIC X-CALIPER Brake Pads in blister packaging. No additional hardware is included.
Jagwire offers a 24-month manufacturer warranty on the BASIC X-CALIPER Brake Pads. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not cover wear from normal use.
