Hobbytech CRX2 RTR – Scale Crawler for Realistic Off-Road Adventures
The Hobbytech CRX2 RTR is a radio-controlled scale crawler in 1:10 scale, designed for challenging terrain. With its 4x4 drive and brushed electric motor, it easily masters slopes and obstacles. Although marketed as RTR (Ready to Run), the model is supplied as ARTR (Almost Ready to Run) and requires a battery, transmitter batteries and a charger for operation.
The 4x4 drive provides excellent traction on loose surfaces and allows climbing over rocks and roots.
The brushed electric motor delivers smooth and controlled behaviour, ideal for technically difficult terrain.
The scale body and detailed replication make the model a real eye-catcher on any trail.
As an ARTR model, the CRX2 is almost fully assembled – you just need to get a battery and transmitter batteries.
24 months manufacturer's warranty provide long-term security for your hobby investment.
What sets the CRX2 apart
Unlike simple toy RC vehicles, the CRX2 features a robust construction designed for intensive off-road use. The combination of scale looks and technical equipment makes it the ideal choice for beginners looking for a reliable crawler.
Ideal for...
This crawler is aimed at RC beginners and advanced users who value realistic driving characteristics. It is particularly suitable for drives in forests, quarries or on dedicated RC crawler courses. Young people aged 14 and over can use the model under adult supervision.
How to use the CRX2
Fully charge the battery and insert fresh batteries into the transmitter. Switch on the transmitter first, then the vehicle. Choose suitable terrain with low to medium obstacles. Drive slowly and steadily – the crawler is optimised for crawling, not speed. After driving, switch off the vehicle first, then the transmitter.
Hobbytech is a manufacturer of RC models focusing on off-road vehicles and crawlers. The brand stands for robust entry-level and advanced models suitable for both hobbyists and collectors.
The Hobbytech CRX2 RTR is a radio-controlled scale crawler in 1:10 scale, designed for off-road use.
You need a battery (e.g. 2S LiPo), four AA batteries for the transmitter and a suitable charger. These are not included because the model is supplied as ARTR (Almost Ready to Run).
The crawler is suitable for young people aged 14 and over and adults. Beginners benefit from simple controls; advanced users can refine the technology with upgrades.
The range is approximately 50-80 metres depending on the environment. The top speed is low (approx. 10-15 km/h), typical for a crawler designed for torque rather than speed.
Clean the vehicle from mud and dust after off-road use. Regularly check the screws and driveshaft. Store the crawler dry and do not fully discharge the battery.
