Hager HTI HA SICH DT II 10A 500V gG Fuse with Indicator
The Hager HTI HA SICH DT II is a sand-type DII fuse rated at 10 A and 500 V with a gG melting characteristic and integrated indicator. It is designed for installation in a DIN rail-mounted fuse holder within industrial and commercial electrical distribution systems.
10 A rated current with gG (general-purpose) melting characteristic provides reliable overcurrent protection for standard branch circuits
500 V AC rated voltage suitable for low-voltage distribution boards and switchgear
Sand-filled construction suppresses arc extinction, reducing the risk of flashover during fuse operation
Integrated indicator (melder) provides a visible signal when the fuse has blown, enabling quick identification of faulted circuits
Pack of 5 units — sufficient for multi-circuit distribution boards or as replacement stock
What sets this fuse apart
The gG characteristic ensures the fuse responds appropriately to both sustained overloads and short-circuit currents, making it suitable for a wide range of standard electrical loads. The sand-filled design and integrated indicator combine functional protection with operational visibility, reducing downtime during troubleshooting.
Ideal for...
Industrial and commercial electrical installations where DIN rail-mounted fuse protection is required, including distribution boards, switchgear assemblies, and equipment enclosures in buildings and facilities.
Application of Hager HTI HA SICH DT II 10A 500V gG Fuse
Mount the fuse holder on a DIN rail in the distribution board
Insert the fuse into the holder until it clicks into place
Verify the indicator is in the normal (unblown) position before energising the circuit
Replace the fuse if the indicator signals a blown state, after isolating the circuit
Hager is a Swiss manufacturer of electrical installation and protection equipment, serving the building and industrial sectors with a broad range of fuse holders, circuit breakers, and distribution components.
It provides overcurrent protection for standard branch circuits in industrial and commercial low-voltage distribution systems, rated at 10 A and 500 V AC.
gG stands for general-purpose melting characteristic. The fuse is designed to tolerate brief current surges (such as motor inrush) while reliably interrupting sustained overloads and short-circuit currents.
The built-in indicator (melder) changes state visibly when the fuse element blows, allowing maintenance personnel to identify a faulted circuit without removing the fuse or measuring voltage.
The sand fill suppresses the electric arc during fuse operation, containing the arc energy and reducing the risk of flashover or damage to surrounding components.
The pack contains 5 fuses. Hager provides a 24-month manufacturer's warranty on this product.
