What sets the Ernie Ball 2624 apart

The Skinny Top HBS design keeps the thinner strings comfortable to play while the heavier bottom strings maintain tension and volume. Ernie Ball's Slinky line is one of the most widely used electric guitar string sets in the world, trusted by players across genres from metal to jazz.

Ideal for...

8-string electric guitar players who need a balanced, versatile set for studio recording, live performance, or practice. The 09–80 gauge range suits players who prefer a thinner feel on the treble strings without sacrificing low-end fullness on the bass strings.

Application of Ernie Ball 2624 Slinky Nickel

Install the strings on an 8-string electric guitar, tuning each string to its standard pitch. The set includes all 8 strings in a single pack. Break in the strings by stretching gently after installation to reduce initial tuning instability.
