How to use the Energizer Hearing Aid Battery 13
Remove the protective tab from the new battery, allow it to activate in the air for 1–2 minutes, then insert it into the hearing aid observing correct polarity. Store unused batteries in a cool, dry place.

It is a zinc-air battery of size 13 (also known as PR48, V13, 13A), specially designed for hearing aids. The 8-pack provides a sufficient reserve for several weeks.
The battery fits all hearing aids requiring a size 13 battery, regardless of brand. Typical designations include PR48, 13 (Orange), V13, HA13, V13HM, 4606, 8606, R13ZA, 13A, L13ZA, 13AE, PR-13PA, PR-13H, DA13, S13A, ZL2, AC13, 13HPX, HM13, NR48 and ZA13.
Battery life depends on the hearing aid and usage. On average, a size 13 zinc-air battery lasts about 5–14 days. After removing the protective tab, it should be used within 4–6 weeks.
Store the batteries in a cool, dry place, ideally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight and moisture. Remove the protective tab only immediately before use.
