Durasat DUR-line LNB Monobloc Single 6° – Two satellites, one cable

The Durasat DUR-line LNB Monobloc Single 6° MB6-US is a satellite LNB that receives signals from two fixed positions (19.2° East and 13° East) simultaneously through a single coaxial cable.

  • Receives Astra 19.2°E and Hotbird 13°E without a second cable or DiSEqC switch – reduces installation effort and material costs
  • Single output for straightforward wiring to receiver or multiswitch – no additional control line needed
  • DUR-line series by Durasat ensures weatherproof outdoor operation and long-term signal stability
  • Compact footprint with only 6° LNB spacing enables mounting on standard multifeed brackets without space constraints
  • 24 months manufacturer warranty provides long-term investment security for satellite installations

What sets the DUR-line MB6-US apart

The Monobloc Single 6° differs from standard single LNBs by its fixed 6-degree opening angle between the two receiving units. This precision makes the MB6-US the ideal choice for standard dual-reception setups without manual adjustment of individual LNB holders. The sealed housing meets the requirements for permanent outdoor use.

Ideal for ...

Satellite installers, DIY enthusiasts and tenants who want to receive Astra and Hotbird programmes through a single cable without an additional switching device. The monobloc is particularly suitable for installations with limited space on the multifeed rail and for retrofitting existing 60 to 80 cm dishes.

How to use the LNB Monobloc

Replace your existing single LNB on the satellite dish with the DUR-line MB6-US. Align the dish to the primary position (Astra 19.2°E); the second LNB is already correctly positioned for Hotbird 13°E thanks to the fixed 6° spacing. Connect a coaxial cable to the F-connector of the single output and run it to the receiver. After a short channel scan, programmes from both satellites are available.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Monobloc LNB combines two receiving units in a single housing with a fixed 6-degree spacing. This allows you to receive signals from two satellite positions (Astra 19.2°E and Hotbird 13°E) through one coaxial cable without additional hardware.

This Monobloc Single 6° is designed for two satellites with a 6-degree separation: primarily Astra 19.2° East and secondarily Hotbird 13° East. For other satellite positions the offset angle differs and correct alignment cannot be guaranteed.

The LNB operates as a Monobloc Single with a fixed 6-degree opening angle. The housing is sealed for outdoor use. It is a pure receiving unit without built-in multiswitch or DiSEqC control. Output is via a single F-connector.

The Monobloc LNB is supplied with an F-connector and assembly instructions. Screws for mounting on the multifeed bracket and the coaxial cable are not included and must be purchased separately.

The Monobloc Single 6° fits standard multifeed brackets for 60 to 80 cm dishes. Before mounting, check the fixing diameter and whether the bracket supports the 6-degree spacing. An adapter may be required for older brackets.
