How to use the DEWALT Powerstack Battery Set
Simply insert a battery into your DEWALT XR 18V tool until it clicks into place. To charge, connect the battery to a compatible DEWALT charger (e.g., DCB118 fast charger). Charging time is approximately 60–120 minutes depending on the charger and battery condition. Store batteries in a dry, cool place when not in use to maximize service life.

The DEWALT Powerstack Battery Set consists of two rechargeable lithium-ion batteries with 18 volts and 5.0 Ah capacity each. They use Powerstack technology with flat cells for higher performance and durability. The batteries are designed for DEWALT XR 18V tools.
The batteries are compatible with all DEWALT XR 18V tools, including drills, impact wrenches, saws, angle grinders, lights, and more. Older DEWALT 18V NiCd/NiMH tools are not supported – please check compatibility before purchasing.
Each battery has a capacity of 5.0 Ah and 90 Wh. Charging time depends on the charger used: with a DEWALT fast charger (e.g., DCB118) a battery charges in approximately 60 minutes. With a standard charger, charging time may be up to 120 minutes.
The package contains two DEWALT Powerstack batteries (18V, 5.0 Ah). A charger, storage case, or battery compartment are not included – you need a separate DEWALT charger.
The DEWALT Powerstack Battery Set comes with a 24-month manufacturer warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing and material defects. With proper use and care, the batteries can achieve several hundred charge cycles.
