Delock SATA3 Cable 0.7m with Metal Clip – secure connection for SATA drives
This Delock SATA3 cable connects internal SATA devices such as hard drives, SSDs, or optical drives to the motherboard. The transfer rate of 6 Gbps ensures fast data transfer, while backward compatibility with SATA II (3 Gbps) and SATA I (1.5 Gbps) allows use in older systems. The integrated metal clip on both ends securely locks the connector to the port and prevents accidental disconnection, even under vibration inside the case.
- Transfer rate of 6 Gbps according to SATA Rev. 3.0 – compatible with older SATA specifications
- Metal clip on both SATA connectors for a firm hold and reliable connection
- Transparent black cable jacket – discreet in any case
- 70 cm length – ideal for compact to medium cases with standard motherboard distance
- Plug & Play – no driver required, ready to use
What sets the Delock SATA3 cable apart
Compared to standard SATA cables without clips, this model offers increased pull-out security. The twisted pairs and shielding reduce electromagnetic interference, improving signal quality at high clock rates and longer cable runs. Thanks to backward compatibility, you can use the cable on older SATA II or SATA I ports without compatibility issues.
Ideal for...
Home users and IT professionals who upgrade or maintain their own systems. This cable is especially suitable for desktop PCs, home servers, and NAS systems where a stable cable connection is critical for continuous operation. Also for replacing defective or too-short cables in existing setups.
How to use the Delock SATA3 cable
Connect the cable to the SATA port on the motherboard and the SATA drive. Push the connectors firmly until the metal clip clicks into place. Avoid sharp bends: a minimum bending radius of about 3 cm should be maintained to prevent damage to the internal conductors. The cable is detected without additional software and is ready for immediate use. Thanks to backward compatibility, you can also use it on SATA II ports; the transfer rate then automatically reduces to 3 Gbps.
