With a shrink ratio of 2:1, the tubing adapts to a range of inner diameters that are twice as large as the final diameter of 16 mm before shrinking. Slide the tubing over the cable before heating so that it contracts evenly.
The tubing is made of a polyester-polyolefin composite film. This material offers high mechanical strength combined with flexibility and is resistant to moisture and many common chemicals.
Slide the tubing over the cable or wire, heat it evenly with a hot air gun at medium temperature and wait for the shrinking process until the sleeve sits form-fittingly. Do not heat with an open flame.
