The SF Series from Corsair is aimed at users who need high power reserves in compact cases. The fully modular cabling allows only the required cables to be connected — less cable clutter in the case and better airflow.

Ideal for...

The power supply is suitable for building high-performance compact PCs, Mini-ITX systems, and SFF cases where space and cable management are crucial. It is also a suitable choice for workstations with a single high-end graphics card or for users who prefer an efficient, quiet system with low heat output.

Using the Corsair SF850

1. Install the power supply in the case and connect it to the motherboard (24-pin), the graphics card (PCIe 6+2 pin), and the drives (SATA, Molex) using the modular cables
2. Only use the required cables from the cable set and stow the remaining cables inside the case
3. Connect the power cord to the outlet and start the system — the 80 PLUS Platinum efficiency ensures cool, efficient operation
