How to use the Axial pinion gear
Slide the pinion onto the motor shaft and secure it with the supplied grub screw (if included). Ensure proper gear mesh with the spur gear. Tools and screws are available separately depending on the model.

The Axial pinion gear is a hardened steel motor pinion that slides onto the motor shaft and transfers power to the spur gear. It is used to adjust the gear ratio.
It fits all standard RC motors with 3 mm shaft diameter, especially Axial original motors and many aftermarket motors from Holmes Hobbies, Castle Creations, etc.
It has a 32DP pitch, 15 teeth (15T), and a 3 mm bore diameter. The pinion gear is made of hardened steel.
Only the pinion gear is included. The grub screw for securing it to the motor shaft must be used separately or sourced from the kit.
Axial provides a 24-month manufacturer warranty on this pinion gear. In case of material or manufacturing defects, you will receive a replacement.
