Connect the red clamp to the vehicle battery positive (+) terminal
Connect the black clamp to the negative (−) terminal or a grounded metal surface
Turn the unit on and wait for the LED indicator to confirm readiness
Start the vehicle — the 400A output delivers sufficient cranking power
After starting, disconnect the clamps in reverse order
