Application of the 4smarts SkyTag TSA Lock
Attach the SkyTag to your keyring or luggage handle using the integrated clip
Open the Apple Find My app and pair the device via Bluetooth
Use the app to trigger a sound or check the last known location within 50 metres
At the airport, the TSA lock allows security inspection without damaging the bag or the device
The location function requires the Apple Find My app and works with iPhone and iPad. Android devices are not supported.
Open the Apple Find My app, select Add Item and follow the on-screen instructions while holding the SkyTag close to your iPhone.
The Bluetooth connection has a maximum range of 50 metres. Walls and other obstacles can reduce the range.
The integrated TSA lock can be opened by security authorities with a universal TSA key, allowing luggage inspections without damaging the lock or the bag.
Yes, the TSA lock function works independently of the app. The location tracking, however, requires the Apple Find My app.
The SkyTag is powered by a replaceable CR2032 coin cell.
Yes, as long as the SkyTag is within Bluetooth range of a device participating in the Apple Find My network, its location is displayed in the Find My app.
The lock can be attached to zipper pulls of suitcases, bags and backpacks to secure them against unauthorised opening.
